Vilumi red light makes a difference
Red light therapy, also known as photobiomodulation, is based on the principle that specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light (typically 630–850 nm) penetrate the skin to reach the cells in the underlying tissue – muscles, tendons, joints, and skin.
The light is absorbed by the mitochondria, the "powerhouses" of the cells, where it stimulates the production of ATP (adenosine triphosphate) – the energy the cells need to function and repair themselves. With more available energy, the body can work more efficiently with its natural healing processes.
Results over time with regular use often include a combination of faster recovery after exertion, improved mobility, and stronger, more resilient tissue – making the method as much a preventive tool as a treatment.
